On some journeys, we know exactly where we want to go. We get a map, plan a route, pack the things that we think we will need, and hope that our journey will work out as we planned. Sometimes our plans work out, sometimes they don't. Sometimes, where we end up is better than what we had planned in the first place.

In our class this year we are going to take many learning journeys together. Sometimes we may not end up where we thought we were going, but we will realize that the journey is more important than the destination.

We will need to learn to use many different skills, tools and other people to help us on our learning journeys.
